Ella Fitzpatrick

Ella Fitzpatrick’s “Big Band Reflections”, released on 02 January 2026, is a masterful homage to the golden era of jazz orchestras while boldly embracing contemporary sensibilities. Recorded in Helsingborg, Sweden, and produced alongside Kent B Nyberg at Pomrox Studios, the album celebrates the grandeur of big band sound, sweeping brass sections, lush woodwind harmonies, and irresistible swing, yet it never feels merely retrospective. Instead, Fitzpatrick’s interpretations breathe fresh life into classic arrangements, blending technical sophistication with emotional intimacy in every note.

The album is meticulously crafted, with arrangements that balance full-bodied ensemble passages and delicate, reflective interludes. Harmonically, it employs extended jazz chords, tasteful chromaticism, and surprising resolutions that enhance the depth and richness of the music. Rhythmic textures are equally sophisticated, allowing the rhythm section to drive swing numbers while offering nuanced subtlety during quieter moments. Each track flows naturally, creating a narrative arc that alternates between energy and introspection, offering the listener a complete experience of big band jazz without sacrificing cohesion or emotional impact.

Working with producer Kent B Nyberg, Ella has created something that critics are already losing their minds over. It’s authentic, it’s loud, and it has a lot of heart. If you’re tired of tiny, thin-sounding pop songs and want to hear a full orchestra really go for it, this is the album for you. It’s big, it’s bold, and it’s a lot of fun.

Posted on 26th Mar 2025

For this review we are going to be look at Soul Provider and their new album, “Country Dreams”.Soul Provider are an exceptional group have been making music for the past decade. The founder, Kent B Nyberg is a composer, producer and instrumentalist has done a brilliant job with his music.

“Country Dreams” consists of sixteen different tracks, where each and every one of them is amazing. Kicking it off we have, “Old Friends”. This is the perfect start as instantly we are hooked. This is a catchy, swinging country track that will undoubtedly get you up on your feet and grooving along. The beat is like no other and will leave eager to hear the rest of the album.

A track that really caught my eye was, “Lonely Nights”. This track has a solid drum beat to groove to and some stunning strumming guitars to rock along to. The vocals in this one are also amazing. The lead singer has a brilliant, loving voice that I could honestly listen to all day long.

Another track that I loved was, “Down To Mexico”. The thing that really stood out to me was the vocals. The vocalist has the most enjoyable and country style voice that I have ever heard. He sings with such ease and talent, with the ability of being able to reach some insane notes.

And finally, to close the album we have, “Brooken Strings”. Which is, of course, another fantastic hit and a lovely way to end the album. This is a more laid-back, mellow tune that is just stunning. It is the perfect way to wrap up an incredible album.

I could sit here all day and talk about this album but instead, why don’t you check it out for yourself?

Posted on 5th Dec 2024 Review>>

Soul Provider are an exceptional collection of artists, founded by Kent B Nyberg. Today we are looking at an album that was released by Soul Provider in November, and this album is called, “Urban Echoes Of Soul”.

“Urban Echoes Of Soul” consists of fifteen different tracks, all which are amazing in their own way. And kicking it off we have, “Divided Souls”. This is a brilliant intro to the album, which will get you hooked. The upbeat, groovy tune will have you up on your feet dancing along.

One track that really caught my eye was, “Just Take Me”. This song follows a more soft-rock style, full of catchy beats and electrifying instrumental solos. This track has some exceptional vocals that really stand out. The male vocalist has a unique, and powerful voice, which is perfect for this style of song.

Another track that I loved was, “Power”. This track blends rock and pop and I must say it is amazing. The music is peculiar, but this makes it even more intriguing. The music is quite melodic, and is absolutely stunning, one that anyone and everyone can enjoy.

And finally, to close off the album we have, “New Direction”. This is quite a lengthy tune, lasting over five minutes long, but there is not a single second that is not brilliant. The music will undoubtedly keep you on your toes throughout the entirety of this one. In terms of vocals, all the vocalists come together and blend their voices. There is no doubting that all of them are talented!
